It’s Great To Be Eight!

Another birthday is on the books for Tessa!

We pretty much just played it cool all day, in honor of the kid herself.

Then at the warmest hour, Tessa invited a few friends to go on a scavenger hunt in the hills. They found little goodies buried in the snow, hanging from trees, and hiding in fallen logs. Hot cocoa with rainbow sprinkles felt good after a few hours on the trail!

She made sure we ate well all day: blueberry pancakes and PB&Js and corn on the cob and carrot cake. Yum!

And she had one big request for a gift: bangs!
