As a fellow mom could be heard (breaking my heart by) telling me, Maggie is now closer to 20 than to being born. Ack!!

We celebrated her Thanksgiving birthday by bundling up for a (pandemically responsible) outdoor celebration. They made clay gnomes and succulent wreaths and had an epic nerf gun fight.

She chose the day’s menu: pumpkin pie and deviled eggs for breakfast, black bean quesadillas with guacamole for lunch, and butter noodles and baby carrots for dinner. Instead of a birthday cake, she opted for caramel ice cream sundaes. Yum!

We are so grateful for our (no longer so) little turkey. Happy birthday, Maggie!
We love watching you grow up, Maggie. You’re doing a fine job. π
Happy one-teen Maggie
Love this! I am so, so glad no one shared with me that sentiment when my girls each turned 11. Enjoy 11 and try not to think too far ahead π Mary
