Makes for a happy afternoon!
Cuz this was mom’s idea

“Creative Campfire Cookies” we’re calling them. And we have plenty; come on by and share one!
A snippet of eavesdropped conversation:
“Pretend you were surprised cuz I got 5 fish at once.”
“No. You can’t get that many unless theyre sucking each other’s butts.”
“Disgusting!”
“Tessa Tessa Tessa school of fish! School of fish!”
“18 fishies!”
“Tada! Pretend we’re rescuing these fish and taking them to the zoo. I’ll get a bucket of food.”
“Pretend I caught a fish and it went down the slide and slammed you on the face.”
“And we can turn into sea horses.”
“I’m going into the tank!”
“But I can only turn into a manta Ray.”
Last Sunday the girls were baptized in the church we’ve been attending since last year. We figured it was time, finally, to get into gear about it, especially since next year we’ll be living in the heartland of Lutheranism.

Maggie said she was nervous, but still stepped up like a big sister and went first. Tessa was just excited to be bap-a-tized and thought it was kind of funny to get so wet in church.
It was a busy busy busy but lovely weekend all around.

(And aren’t the quilts made by ladies in the church just amazing!)
