Gute Reise

We’re taking a holiday — out of the gray skies of Germany to the orange- and sunshine-filled streets of Spain.

Our journey begins on the cold Würzburg train platform
A few hours on the train takes us straight to the Frankfurt airport
Made it inside security for snack time
Wiggling lose teeth on the shuttle bus to the plane
In our seats on the plane, ready for takeoff, please
We made it off the plane in Valencia!

Oh, yeah. And we get to see our best friends for the first time in 7 months!!

The Holidays!

You know what they say, if you prepare for it, it will come!

So we did, and Christmas came!

And then New Year’s too! (Which was insane, by the way. Everyone buys an imprudent amount of fireworks and instead of having a huge central civil show, everyone just shoots off their own all night long. Especially at midnight it gets crazy and the church bells ring and people shoot guns in the air and it feels like an actual momentous moment.)

Now it’s 2019. A new year for new adventures!
