On December 20th at 8:58, Tessa Jane was born! She waited sensibly until the whole family was free of illness and the roads were clear of snow. Weighing in at a whopping 8 lbs 15 oz, our little Bruin Hilda has surprised most of us (motherly intuition be damned) by being firstly a girl, secondly huge, and thirdly the most mellow and laid back (maybe even stoic) baby we’ve certainly ever had in our house.
