Calling All Imaginations!
There have been some real head-scratchers around here lately. See if you can help us out with these conundrums:
(1) What do these two items have in common — a fence and an anchor?
(2) What is the orange animal below the moo-cow? (This is from a onesie of Maggie’s. There’s no category of animal, like barnyard or jungle; they’re all mushed together, as you can see from the lion and crocodile on the left and the weird cat and ram on the right. But what is that orange thing?)

A fence and an anchor: both keep you from going somewhere
I vote it's a buffalo π

1) They keep you in place.
2) I think it's a dog smelling its tail or a bear. Or maybe a buffalo.
They are the name of a company; Anchor Fence Company of Maine. Look-em up on the inernet.
Established in 1891 under the name of Anchor Post Fence Co., Anchor Fence was the first company in the USA to manufacture and install chain link fence fabric using machines imported from Belgium. In 1947, responding to an infestation of yellow/green lizards, that were damaging untreated fence posts, Anchor Fence Company developed and patented the smashemright process which they sold as a no cost add-on to their custom wooden fence installations. This process automatically reduces yellow/green lizards to a blotch of red with a yellow strip and several black spots. (similar to what is shown under the cow in the picture)
yuck. i don't think they put that kind of stuff on baby onesies, actually. even this weird one.
