TP Tuesday #32

I am officially in my eighth month of pregnancy now, 11 7/8 squares. But the baby is for sure still getting whatever he/she needs, cuz there’s less space inside me now than there was before. There’s less room for food, so the four-meal-a-day plan is no longer sufficient — I’m becoming a grazer. There’s less room for my bladder, so I’m staying closer to home or at least planning routes carefully. And there’s less room for my lungs, so I’m going up the stairs slower than before. But it all means baby’s size keeps increasing, so there’s little to complain about. And I have found that without a pillow between my knees at night (which I know is the proper and approved method for side sleeping) I actually do sleep and don’t wake up with my hips throbbing. Sorry doc, I’d rather sleep.

  1. it all sounds good to me, keep the blogs coming, Gretch, . all is well in Taylor, we went out today to annual physical (me) and to lunch and to an interesting grocery, Sprouts, very organic, etc. Lots of fresh veggies. so we will eat well awhile. I look for your blogs on Tues. love from the old ones

  2. Hey Gretch & Bill –
I love hearing about baby's progress! I remember so well those last two months or so. Feeling like a beached whale in bed (wake up, sit up, turn over, lay down) and the loss of inside self (no room for lungs, stomach, or bladder)! It is all absolutely WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF IT! I can hardly wait to see the picture that's not of a tummy, but of a warm, soft, sweet, baby bundle! My guess is that it's going to be a boy and born on 11/21/09 at 10:39 PM. If I'm right, what do I win???? Love to you both! Aunt Charlotte
