Bill now works for the ClA!
Ok. So that’s not really true. But sort of. He is one of five (five!!) individuals in the whole nation who will be receiving a ClA grant for the next year!
This is good news, great news, for many reasons: (1) validation that Bill is awesome and a smarty-pants; (2) someone besides Bill’s advisor is paying him, so he can ask for time off without feeling like he’s asking favors; (3) it’s twice as much money as an NlH grant;
(4) it’s twice as much money as said advisor would be dishing out;
(5) it’s enough money that I don’t have to take a job in Boston;
(6) Bill is an awesome smarty-pants!
Party in Boston? You betcha!

And I read the proposal and it is a great project. I mean beside the fact that Grill now has more options and Grill can maybe take some time off between there and over-there.Congratulations you guys.
